PHOENICIA. Sidon. Ba`alšillem (Sakton) II, circa 401-366 BC. 1/16 Shekel (Silver, 9 mm, 0.76 g, 9 h). Phoenician galley left; 𐤁 (B in Phoenician) above, waves below. Rev. Persian king or hero, holding dagger in his right hand, standing right, fighting lion standing left on its hind legs; o (' in Phoenician) between; all within incuse square. HGC 10, 240. Darkly toned and very well preserved for the issue. Scratch on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
